====== Chyron CODI ======

The Chyron CODI (sometimes referred to as the "Blackbox Codi") was an analog character generator designed to be remotely controlled by a computer. It saw a ton of use, particularly with TV stations when paired with the Sage Alerting Systems ENDEC or TFT EAS 911 Emergency Alert System encoder. 

It was eventually replaced with the [[chyron:digibox|DigiBox CODI]].
