====== Chyron VP-1 ======

The VP-1 was an entry level character generator by Chyron. It came out after the higher end [[chyron:vp2|VP-2]], and did not feature and direct input such as a keyboard. The unit must be controlled by a computer via RS-232. Chyron may have supplied their own software, but none has been found.
