====== Texscan MSI ======

Texscan MSI was a manufacturer of character generators and commercial insertion equipment for use in cable TV systems. Texscan MSI was formed as a subsidiary of Texscan Corporation in 1980 following Texscan Corporation's acquisition of MSI Television from Com Tel, Inc.[(https://www.newspapers.com/article/the-indianapolis-news-texscan-buys-msi-t/164739364/)] In 1983, Texscan MSI acquired Computer Video Systems, Inc., another manufacturer of character generators produced under the COMPUVID brand. The combined company was named Texscan MSI/Compuvid.
