====== Video Data Systems CG830 ======

The CG830 was the mid range option in the 800 Series. It allowed for color backgrounds, but could only show black and white text, and did not genlock. Another variant, the CG830EAS, was commonly used in Emergency Alert System installations at cable television plants and television stations to display alert information to viewers. It interfaced with the EAS equipment via RS-232 Serial.
