====== MHz Sub-Alert AV-EAS-CG ======

The Sub-Alert AV-EAS-CG from Mega Hertz (MHz for short) was a modified and re-branded Video Data Systems CG830 or CG840. It was sold as part of a complete Emergency Alert System package for cable television operators, and interfaced with a SAGE Alerting Systems EAS ENDEC for Emergency Alert System activation.

In addition to the standard Video Data Systems 800 Series functionality, the AV-EAS-CG also offered native compatibility with a SAGE ENDEC for the display of emergency alerts. It also had two program outputs, and supported "Tune To" messages which prompted viewers to tune to a certain channel to receive alert information.
