====== Video Messenger VM-3 ====== The VM-3 from Video Messenger Company was released in the early 2000s, competing against similar products from Keywest Technology (formerly Video Data Systems) and Videonics. The VM-3 featured modem and remote terminal support. The design and manufacturing of the VM-3 was handled by S&S Research, Inc. of Cambridge, Massachusetts. S&S Research, as of the VM-3's release, was the parent of professional audio equipment supplier MOTU. Due to this, the half-rack enclosure that the VM-3 is housed in appears to be borrowed from MOTU equipment.
