Idea/onics CG-1000

Presumably created by Idea/onics, the CG-1000 was a character generator paired exclusively with Emergency Alert System equipment, notably the HollyAnne MIP-921 and likely HU-961.

Other than footage of this character generator in action, not much is currently known about it other than that and its specifications. It offered NTSC output, RS-232 interface, and a solid color background in a 19“ x 1¾” rack mount.1)

Additionally, two models were produced: the CG-1000A was a basic character generator, and the CG-1000R was described as a 'complete Character Generator with modem for remote access.'
