+Video Laser Systems, doing business as Video Data Systems, was a manufacturer of various professional video equipment, including switchers, character generators, and time base correctors. Around 2001/2002, Video Data Systems was acquired by Keywest Technology, another video equipment manufacturer. Following the acquisition, Keywest continued to sell former VDS products, albeit with some modifications.
