 In addition to the standard Video Data Systems 800 Series functionality, the AV-EAS-CG also offered native compatibility with a SAGE ENDEC for the display of emergency alerts. It also had two program outputs, and supported "Tune To" messages which prompted viewers to tune to a certain channel to receive alert information.
