Texscan MSI SpectraGen Z-Series
Keyboard
Although the Z-Series has an AT style DIN port for a keyboard, an external converter box (models ZKB2 or ZKB3) is required. A standard AT keyboard can then be plugged into the ZKB2 adapter.
Emergency Alert System
The SpectraGen Z-4000 was widely used for the emergency alert system. It was paired with the TFT 911 Emergency Alert Encoder / Decoder installed with custom ROMs provided by Texscan MSI.
