The Messenger-II (stylized as the Messenger-II) is a character generator cluster produced as a part of Trilithic's PHASE II product offering. It is capable of generating crawls, static pages, and both using 6 included character generators capable of genlock (keying over baseband video) and audio switching. It can operate in conjunction with any of Trilithic's EAS products via RS-485.

Each individual character generator is configurable to output with either white, grey or black characters on a grey or black backgrounds along with optional outlines. Crawls will display up to 4000 characters maximum and are repeatable up to 99 times or continuously with inter-delay.
